Photography & Visuals

Photography and visuals that feel like you — and the work you’re here to do

From intimate portraits and brand stories to galleries, spaces, and live events, I create images that feel like an honest extension of your work. Whether you’re an artist, therapist, musician, small business, or purpose‑driven organisation, we’ll build a body of visuals that supports what you’re building and the people you want to reach.

Your images should

work as hard as you do

Desert dining setup with tan shade canopies and long table among sandy dunes.

Dried flowers in a terracotta vase displayed in a Moorish arched white wall niche.
Silver rings displayed on a small white ceramic tray atop a rustic wooden box.

With every photography project, the goal is simple: your visuals should help the right people feel something and take the next step with you. That might look like portraits that feel like you, a gallery that finally does your work justice, or a set of visuals that makes your website and socials feel consistent. If we can’t see where new images will genuinely support you, I’d rather adjust the scope or suggest waiting until the timing is right.

Why people usually decide it’s time to invest in new visuals

Most clients come to this service because something about their current site no longer fits,it doesn’t feel like them, it’s hard to update, or it simply isn’t bringing in the right kind of interest. This section highlights the most common friction points so you can see your own situation reflected before we talk about specific solutions.

Outdated visuals

Images that no longer feel like you

Your work and style have evolved, but your images still belong to an earlier season. They aren’t telling the story you’re living now.

Inconsistency

Mismatched visuals across platforms

Website, socials, and print all look and feel different. You’d like one cohesive visual language that follows you everywhere.

Visibility

Hard to show what you actually do

People hear your story but can’t picture it. You need images that make your offer, process, and personality tangible at a glance.

Confidence

Avoiding being seen or visible

You know you “should” be in your own visuals, but it feels uncomfortable. You want a process that feels calm, kind, and collaborative.

Opportunity

Losing out on press or features

When opportunities appear, you don’t have imagery ready that feels publication‑ready or aligned with where you’re heading.

Capacity

DIY visuals taking too much energy

You’re trying to do everything yourself — shooting, editing, curating — when it would serve you better to hand part of that over.

What every photography project has in common

Every photography project starts with a conversation about you, your work, and how these images need to function — on your site, in print, on socials, or all of the above. From there, you get a clear plan, shot list, and timeline, a considered shoot that respects your energy and rhythm, a curated selection of edited images, and straightforward delivery via an online gallery. Depending on your package, this may also include print‑ready files, social crops, usage guidance, and ongoing content sessions across the year.

The Process

A calm, intentional approach from brief to gallery

We start with a discovery call to understand your work, your audience, and what these images need to say. I then shape a loose visual direction and shot list around your locations, timings, and capacity. On the day, we keep things relaxed and human — less stiff posing, more gentle direction and genuine moments. After the shoot, I make a careful selection, edit in a way that feels true to you, and deliver everything in a clean, easy‑to‑use gallery, with clear next steps for how to use your images.

Why work with me

For people who care about the work more than the performance

I gravitate towards people who are building something they care about — however big or small — and I approach photography as a way of supporting that work, not just creating “content”. I balance an eye for detail and composition with a calm, grounded presence on the day, so you’re not left feeling rushed or over‑directed. I can also connect photography with your website, branding, and systems, so your visuals aren’t just beautiful, they’re actually used in the places that matter.

Photography Project Pricing

Every project is shaped around your work, locations, and how you need to use the images, but these packages give a grounded sense of typical scopes and starting points. We can always adjust or combine them with web, branding,

or automation support if it makes more sense to treat everything as one joined‑up project.

We’ll always confirm a clear price and scope before you commit to anything.

FAQ

I feel awkward in front of the camera — is this still for me?

You’re not alone; most of the people I work with don’t love being photographed. We keep things calm, move slowly, and build up gently so you’re never thrown into anything that feels performative. I’ll give light direction, but I’m more interested in honest, grounded images than stiff posing. We’ll talk through what feels comfortable for you before the shoot so you always know what to expect.

Do you travel, and how far?

Yes — much of my work involves travelling to studios, venues, and locations that matter to the story. Travel within an agreed local radius is usually included; anything beyond that we’ll price transparently in your proposal. If you have a specific place in mind, we can use our initial call to work out what’s realistic.

How many images do I receive, and how are they delivered?

Rather than aiming for a huge number, I focus on a strong, usable set of images that you’ll actually want to work with. The exact number depends on the package and scope, but you’ll always know the minimum you can expect before we start. Everything is delivered via an online gallery, with high‑resolution and web‑ready files, and clear guidance on how long the gallery will stay live.

Can we combine photography with web, branding, or automation support?

Yes — and often it’s the most efficient way to work. If you know you’ll need a new website, updated visuals, and perhaps a small system to handle enquiries or bookings, we can build a custom project that covers all three. That way your images, site, and systems are designed together, rather than stitched together later. We can map out what that might look like in our first call.
